Afghanistan, March 6 -- South Korean officials stated that 15 people were injured due to a bomb being accidentally dropped by the country's fighter jets on a residential area in Pocheon. According to authorities, the bombs, dropped during military drills on Thursday, destroyed several homes and a church.

The Northern Gyeonggi Fire and disaster headquarter stated that the condition of two of the injured individuals is critical. They were immediately taken to nearby hospitals for emergency treatment.

The South Korean Air Force confirmed that eight 225-kilogram MK-82 bombs were accidentally dropped by KF-16 fighter jets outside of the designated firing range during the military drills. The Air Force is investigating the cause of the incident...
