Afghanistan, May 14 -- Authorities in Paktia discovered 105 ancient coins, seizing them from smugglers and transferring them to the province's local museum.
Cultural officials in Afghanistan's Paktia province have announced the discovery and seizure of more than 100 ancient coins. These historical artifacts, recovered by local security forces, were subsequently transferred to the provincial museum for safekeeping and documentation.
According to the Paktia Directorate of Information and Culture, the operation was carried out in cooperation with investigative bodies and resulted in the confiscation of 105 coins believed to be of significant archaeological value.
