Afghanistan, Dec. 26 -- A 10-year old Afghan child girl was raped at a religious school in west of Afghanistan on Thursday, officials confirmed.
Rahila Naderi, the provincial women's affairs director said the little girl was raped by a man after she went to toilet at the religious school, where she studies religious subjects.
"The girl is currently under medical treatment at a local hospital in Qala-e-Now city of Badghis, her physical and psychological condition is concerning," Rahila said.
Sher Aqa Alokozay, provincial security manager for Badghis said the police have detained eighteen male students to investigate who has raped the 10-year old female student.
