JAMMU, April 12 -- The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has started haunting people yet again in Jammu and Kashmir as the cases continue to resurge with Union Territory on Saturday recording over one thousand (1000) positive cases.
According to the details, Jammu and Kashmir has recorded 1005 positive today cases while Srinagar, the summer capital of the Union Territory has topped the list with 492 cases.
As per the figures, of 1005, 706 persons have been tested positive in Kashmir Valley while 299 are tested positive in Jammu region.
Adding more worry for the people of the Jammu and Kashmir, 6 deaths have been reported. Five from Jammu division and one from Kashmir division. Two patients died from Jammu City on Sunday.
