SRINAGAR, Dec. 10 -- After days of partial shutdown, Kashmir valley was shut on International Human Rights Day with markets in Srinagar and elsewhere deserted and public transport plying partially on roads amid internet breakdown on 128th consecutive day today.

Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) was till last year issuing call for shutdown on this day in Kashmir, however this year the call was given by Syed Ali Shah Geelani led faction of Hurriyat Conference.

Business activities which resumed partially after four months since August 5 disrupted again as markets across Kashmir were closed due to shutdown.
