SRINAGAR, March 18 -- National Conference (NC) today said party president Dr Farooq Abdullah will contest from Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency and Mohammad Akbar Lone from Baramulla.
Giving details a spokesman of the party said, "National Conference parliamentary board met here today at party headquarters Nawa-e-Subh, Srinagar. The meeting was chaired by the party president Dr Farooq Abdullah."
He added that the parliamentary board members were unanimously of the opinion that the party should contest all six parliamentary constituencies. The board authorised the president to take the final decision on any coalition with secular forces taking into account the national political situation.
