MUMBAI, Sept. 25 -- Former Australia batsman and the IPL (studio) commentator Dean Jones, 59, who died on Thursday noon after a massive heart attack in his hotel room in Mumbai was certain to remain present during the Lanka Premier League (LPL) in Sri Lanka.

This was revealed by Anil Mohan, Founder & CEO IPG Group, the company which has been awarded the rights to host the tournament in Sri Lanka.

"After his IPL commentary assignment, he was scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka for the LPL commentary", Anil Mohan, speaking exclusively over the telephone from Dubai, said.

"He was a mentor and had hand holded me throughout my professional life. Still remember meeting him for the first time in Sri Lanka. We have worked together for over 18 years...
