India on Tuesday recorded 29,689 cases of Covid-19 infection, which the lowest after 132 days since March 17 while the active cases also fell below 4 lakh, recording 3,98,100 cases, lowest after 124 days since March 25, the latest Health Ministry data showed.
The country's Covid-19 infection tally was pushed to 3,14,40,951, while the death toll climbed to 4,21,382, with 415 daily fatalities. Maharashtra dropped to third slot in terms of 53 daily deaths as against Kerala's 135 and Odisha 62.
Top five states which have registered maximum cases are Kerala with 11,586 cases, followed by Maharashtra with 4,877 cases, Tamil Nadu with 1,785 cases, Odisha with 1,637 cases and Andhra Pradesh with 1,627 cases....
