SRINAGAR, March 28 -- Authorities have terminated a doctor and suspended another for showing negligence in their duties towards Covid-19 suspects admitted at JLNM hospital Rainawari here.
Directorate of health services Kashmir (DHSK) has issued a formal order in this regard. Reports said DHSK has terminated a Microbiologist Dr Mariaya Jeelani with immediate effect.
"You were asked to attend your duties immediately, keeping in view the prevailing disaster the Covid-19 outbreak in Valley which you failed to comply with and it created lot of inconvenience to the patients and hospital administration. Hence your contractual services hired as Microbiologist are hereby terminated with immediate effect," the order reads.
