NEW DELHI, March 3 -- The Congress on Monday constituted a screening committee for selection of the Assam Assembly candidates, with former Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan as its chairman and Kamleshwar Patel and Dipika Pandey as its members.
It also has six ex-officio members, including Jitendra Singh, AICC general secretary in-charge of the state, AICC secretaries Prithviraj Prabhakar Sathe, Vikas Upadhyay and Anirudh Singh, State Cpmgress president Ripun Bora and CLP leader Debabrata Saikia.
