Srinagar, Dec. 16 -- PDP spokesperson Zuhaib Mir strongly condemned a viral video allegedly showing Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar pulling down the hijab of a Muslim woman doctor during an official function. Calling the act "absolutely wrong" and deeply hurtful to the Muslim community.

In a statement issued ,Mir said it reflects a disturbing normalisation of disrespect towards Muslim women. He criticised the lack of condemnation from the Prime Minister and the Centre, alleging silent approval.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Mir said such incidents push society towards dangerous fault lines, make Muslims feel unsafe and represent moral failure.
