Srinagar, Nov. 19 -- Youth President Mudasir Karim on Wednesday issued a statement on X, highlighting the alarming disparity in risk allowances between the Jammu & Kashmir Police and other central forces operating in high-risk zones.

Mudasir Karim said that Jammu and Kashmir Police officers risk their lives every single day, and their families silently bear that burden with them. He added that the sacrifices of these officers are real and constant from facing terror threats to participating in dangerous operations and enduring long nights on duty yet their risk allowance remains shockingly low.
