Srinagar, June 9 -- Responding to recent remarks by Srinagar MP Aga Ruhullah that the National Conference has failed to deliver on the people's mandate, senior NC leader and minister Javid Dar on Monday defended the party's work, saying rebuilding takes time and patience.
Speaking to KNS, Javid Dar said that expecting results in just a few months is unrealistic, especially when years of damage had to be repaired first.
"How can things be solved in 6 months?" Dar asked. "We've been given a five-year mandate, not just six months. You can't expect everything to change overnight."
