Srinagar, Aug. 28 -- Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister, on Thursday said the recent floods have highlighted the urgent need for a renewed mitigation plan to ensure people do not face such disasters again.
According to KNS, Wani said that in some areas where water used to be absorbed naturally, floods are now seen. "This whole matter will be reviewed again. Once we come out of the present situation, we will prepare a proper mitigation plan so that such crises do not repeat."
