New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- Voting for the vice presidential election began on Tuesday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi being the first to cast his vote.
The contest is between NDA nominee C P Radhakrishnan and joint opposition candidate B Sudershan Reddy, though the BJP-led alliance holds a clear advantage after the sudden resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar.
