Srinagar, Aug. 4 -- The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah reiterated the party's firm opposition to the unilateral and unconstitutional actions taken on August 5, 2019, stating that such steps continue to remain unacceptable to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the party.

In a statement Farooq Abdullah affirmed that the J&K National Conference will continue its peaceful, democratic and constitutional struggle for the restoration of J&K's democratic and constitutional rights.

Dr. Farooq made these remarks during a meeting with a number of individual and public delegations, who called on him at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha in Srinagar.
