Rajasthan | July 12, July 12 -- In a remarkable display of devotion and craftsmanship, two sisters from Bengaluru - Suraiyya Quraishi and Bibi Tabassum - have completed a handwritten copy of the Holy Qur'an on cloth after six years of dedicated work. The rare and sacred manuscript was recently presented at the revered Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty (R.A.) in Ajmer Sharif.
Written in elegant calligraphy on specially prepared cloth, the Holy Qur'an is divided into five bound volumes containing 604 pages. The presentation at Ajmer Sharif drew large crowds of devotees, who gathered to witness the manuscript and offer prayers in its presence.
