Srinagar, Nov. 21 -- Two newly elected members of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly took oath on Friday, administered by Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather at the Assembly complex.

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) MLA Muntazir Mehdi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Devyani Rana were sworn in at 11:00 am, the Kashmir News Service(KNS) has learnt.

Mehdi was elected from the Budgam Assembly segment, while Rana won from Nagrota, a constituency earlier represented twice by her late father, Devinder Singh Rana.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

With the completion of the oath ceremony, the total strength of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly has now reached 90.
