Srinagar, Jan. 12 -- Two militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Gulshanpora forests area of Tral in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Sunday morning.
Reports said joint teams of Army, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police and central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jointly launched the search operation in the area following the inputs of presence of the militant in the forest area.
An police officer said when the join team of security forces were moving towards the particular area in the dense forests, the militants hiding there, fired at them resulting the encounter in the area.
