Srinagar, Oct. 13 -- A two-day national conference titled "InfraEM Bharat - Engineering the Atma Nirbhar Future" began at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar on Monday, bringing together experts, researchers, and academicians from across the country to deliberate on innovations and sustainable solutions for building a self-reliant India.

Jointly organized by the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering.

The conference was formally inaugurated by Prof. Roohie Naaz Mir, In-charge Director, NIT Srinagar, along with Prof. J.A. Bhat, Head, Department of Civil Engineering, and Prof. Mohammad Shafi Mir, senior faculty member.
