Srinagar, Nov. 17 -- The train service on Banihal-Srinagar line resumed on Sunday days after the service between Srinagar to Baramulla was resumed.

Railway authorities had suspended the train service on the 137-kilometer Banihal-Baramulla line as a "precautionary measure" citing "law and order" as the reason just a day before the J&K special status under Article 370 was revoked on August 5.

On November 11 a trial run was conducted ahead of resuming the service completely. The rail services between Srinagar and Baramulla had partially resumed on November 12.
