Srinagar, Sept. 22 -- President of the Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Association, Mushtaq Chaya, on Monday said that with the tourist season beginning in October, it was important to open several destinations currently closed for visitors.
"Travel partners from Mumbai and Maharashtra visited us and expressed concern that many tourist stations in Pahalgam, Doodhpathri, Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Tangmarg remain closed," Chaya told Kashmir News Service (KNS).Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He added that the delegation met hoteliers, houseboat owners, and taxi operators in the Valley and stressed the need for promotion of Kashmir as a destination ahead of the autumn season.
