Srinagar, Feb. 17 -- In a significant boost to the tourism sector, the decision of the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, to reopen several prominent tourist destinations across the Kashmir and Jammu divisions has been widely welcomed by stakeholders.

The move follows a detailed security review and marks an important step toward restoring normalcy, visitor confidence, and economic activity in the region. Popular destinations including Yousmarg, Doodhpathri, Tulip Garden, Thajwas Glacier, Wullar Watlab, and several others in Kashmir, along with select sites in the Jammu division, will now be accessible to tourists.
