Srinagar, Dec. 7 -- M.Y.Tarigami, State President, Centre of India Trade Unions, J&K(CITU) urged the government to establish a Labour Sarai in Anantnag and Kulgam as unorganised work force in the twin district headquarters continue to face daily hardships without basic facilities.
In a statement issued Tarigami said, Thousands of labourers from South Kashmir, Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban and outside J&K gather near the historic Reshi Shrine of Baba Haider Reshi in Anantnag in search of work but have no access to safe shelter, clean drinking water, sanitation or healthcare.
