Srinagar, May 28 -- CPI(M) leader and MLA Kulgam, Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has questioned the non-implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) in Kashmir, expressing serious concern over the continued exclusion of the region's farmers from its benefits.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar following a spate of strong winds and widespread hailstorms across the Valley, according to KNS correspondent Tarigami appealed to the government to assess the status of PMFBY and provide immediate compensation to affected farmers.
