Srinagar, Dec. 11 -- Former legislator, Surinder Singh Channi Thursday urged the Pulwama district administration to establish a dedicated snow-clearance control room for the Tral constituency, citing repeated difficulties faced by residents during winter.

He said people in Tral and adjoining areas face delays in snow removal every year, affecting mobility and essential services.

A control room, he said, would help ensure timely deployment of machinery, better coordination between departments and quicker response during snowfall.
