Srinagar, May 28 -- Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing development works at SKIMS Medical College and Hospital, Bemina.
The visit focused on reviewing the construction of a 250-bedded In-Patient Department (IPD) block and a College Laboratory block, being built at an estimated cost of ?83.94 crore and ?88.23 crore, respectively.
Officials informed that the seven-storey IPD block will house specialized wards in Orthopedics, Medicine, Psychiatry, Labour, Obstetrics, and General Surgery, along with an administrative section, medical records unit, boardroom, and lecture theatre.
