Srinagar, Dec. 16 -- Most parts of Kashmir recorded sub-zero minimum temperatures on Tuesday, with Zojila Pass emerging as the coldest place at minus 17 degrees Celsius, officials said.

In the Valley, Pampore and Pulwama were the coldest inhabited areas, both recording a minimum of minus 4 degrees Celsius, followed by Shopian at minus 3.8 degrees Celsius and Anantnag at minus 3.3 degrees Celsius.

Srinagar recorded a low of minus 1.8 degrees Celsius, while the city's airport logged minus 2 degrees Celsius.
