Srinagar, Dec. 30 -- Cold conditions persisted across Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on Tuesday, with several places in the Kashmir Valley and the Ladakh region recording sub-zero temperatures, even as the Meteorological Department forecast snowfall in parts of the region from today evening. In the Kashmir region, Pahalgam recorded a minimum temperature of minus 1.2 degrees Celsius, while Gulmarg settled at minus 1.6 degrees Celsius. Pulwama also experienced sub-zero conditions at minus 1.1 degrees Celsius. Srinagar recorded a low of 1.0 degrees Celsius, while the city's airport registered 0.8 degrees Celsius.
