Srinagar, May 15 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Thursday said that the Omar Abdullah led govt has ushered in a transformative era of governance marked by the importance of active citizen engagement in shaping effective governance.

This he said today at Reshi Gund, Kralpora in Kupwara district. While speaking to the gathering, Dr. Abdullah highlighted the hardships faced by the people over the last decades and reaffirmed that the Omar Abdullah-led government is fully committed to fulfill all promises made in the party manifesto.
