Jammu, Sept. 4 -- Srinagar, Sep 4 (KNS) Kashmiri labourers stranded in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh due to relentless rains and landslides received timely assistance after intervention by senior Congress leader Ghulam Ahmed Mir, following a social media alert by J&K Peoples Conference President and Handwara MLA Sajad Lone.
In a statement issued, Lone had earlier raised concern over the plight of workers from Kupwara and Kangan, amid reports of potential casualties, and appealed for urgent humanitarian help.
