Srinagar, Aug. 9 -- Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, reaffirmed the government's stance on the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, stating it is not a favor but a constitutional right.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Wani said that, "We believed in promises. It's not a concession, we were already a state. We were downgraded to a Union Territory. It's time we are reinstated."
