Srinagar, Nov. 29 -- Large parts of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh continued to reel under intense cold as minimum temperatures recorded on Friday night plummeted below the freezing point in several areas, according to data compiled by Kashmir Weather. In the Kashmir Valley, Srinagar recorded a low of -3.1degC, while Qazigund settled at -3.4degC. Tourist resorts also witnessed severe cold, with Pahalgam dropping to -5.2degC and Gulmarg to -1.3degC. Pampore was among the coldest spots in the region at -6.0degC, followed by Zethan Rafiabad at -5.6degC. The Srinagar Airport and Awantipora touched -5.2degC and -5.0degC respectively.
