Srinagar, Dec. 3 -- Srinagar Police organizedCyber Jagrukta Diwas ( Cyber Awareness Day )across all Police Stations and subordinate units with the objective of empowering citizens with essential knowledge about cyber security, the rising trends in online crimes, and the mechanisms available for reporting and prevention.

As part of this initiative, awareness programmes were conducted simultaneously in various Police Stations, where officers briefed the public about different forms of cyber crimes such as financial frauds, phishing, identity theft, online blackmail, cyberbullying, and misuse of social media platforms.
