Srinagar, Dec. 8 -- In a major action against drug trafficking and its supporting infrastructure, Srinagar Police has attached immovable property worth approximately ?75 lakhs belonging to a notorious drug peddler under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

The attached property comprises a residential house along with 6 marlas of land situated at Pamposh Colony, Noorbagh. The asset is registered in the name of Mohammad Irfan Sheikh, son of Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh, who is involved in FIR No. 48/2025 U/S 8/22 NDPS Act at Police Station Sangam.

During investigation, it was conclusively established that the said property had been raised using illicit proceeds generated through the narcotics trade.Click...
