Srinagar, Feb. 21 -- Several weather stations in Kashmir recorded record-breaking maximum temperatures for the month of February on Saturday, the Meteorological Centre Srinagar said. Srinagar registered an all-time highest maximum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius for February, surpassing the previous record of 20.6 degrees Celsius recorded on February 24, 2016. Gulmarg, the ski resort in north Kashmir, also recorded its highest-ever February maximum temperature at 11.5 degrees Celsius, breaking the earlier record of 11.4 degrees Celsius set on February 11, 1993.
