Srinagar, July 28 -- Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and MLA Chrar-i-Sharief, Ab Rahim Rather, has directed Budgam district administration to ensure smooth arrangements for the annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Ali Aali Balkhi (RA) at Pakherpora, starting August 6, 2025.

The celebrations will begin with the traditional Poshak Bandi (laying of the sacred chadar) on August 6, followed by Shab Khawani (night-long prayers) on August 8. The main Urs will be observed on August 9, and the week-long festivities will conclude the following Friday.
