Sopore, Nov. 12 -- In one of the largest coordinated security operations in recent months, Sopore Police carried out extensive raids across the district, targeting individuals and premises associated with the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI).

Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that More than 30 locations were searched in Sopore, Zaingeer, and Rafiabad with the support of other security agencies. Officials said the action followed credible intelligence inputs about attempts by JeI-linked elements to revive their activities under new names.
