Srinagar, Dec. 22 -- National Conference president and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah on Monday said that the Vande Bharat train has emerged as a lifeline for the people of Kashmir, especially during winter months when road connectivity is disrupted and flights are frequently delayed due to weather conditions.

Speaking to reporters, as per KNS, Abdullah said that snowfall, while challenging, remains a blessing for the Valley. "Snowfall is a blessing for us and we pray that Allah blesses us with more," he said.

Reacting to the fresh snowfall, Abdullah said snow has always been a source of sustenance and hope for the region. "Snowfall is a blessing for us. May Allah bless us with more," he said.
