Srinagar, July 18 -- The Department of Neurosciences at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, recently held an advanced Simulation Training Programme in Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) and Neurovascular Intervention. The training took place at the institute's modern Vet Lab and combined hands-on simulation with expert academic sessions.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Prof. M. Ashraf Ganie, Director and EOSG of SKIMS. Its main goal was to bridge the gap between traditional medical training and the fast-growing field of neurovascular care. Experts emphasized the need to include neurovascular techniques in the training of neurosurgery, neurology, and interventional neuroradiology students.
