Srinagar, Dec. 2 -- J&K National Conference State Women's Wing President and MLA Habbakadal Shameema Firdous Tuesday undertook an extensive public outreach programme in Srinagar, reaffirming her commitment to improving civic infrastructure and addressing community concerns.

She laid the foundation stone for two vital drainage projects aimed at easing long-pending water logging issues in the old city. The first project running from Khanqah-e-Moula to Zaina Kadal has been sanctioned at an estimated cost of ?47 lakh. The second project, from Gawkadal to Basant Bagh, carries an estimated cost of ?49 lakh.
