Srinagar, Jan. 28 -- Srinagar Development Authority on Tuesday carried a raid in Srinagar against the shopkeepers and street vendors who have occupied the footpaths.
In a statement to KNS they said that In view of traffic pressure and non- availability of road infrastructure on the roads of City Srinagar where roads/footpaths have been occupied illegally by vendors and flee market leading to hindrance to smooth follow of traffic.
In this regard, as per the directions of Vice Chairman Srinagar Development Authority, Enforcement wing of SDA under its special drive conducted and carried out demolition drive at various places under their jurisdiction.
