Srinagar, Aug. 10 -- Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) State President Vivek Bali has called on the Central Government to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir at the earliest, stressing that the present atmosphere of peace and normalcy makes it the right time to fulfill the long-standing promise.

In a statement issued ,Bali reminded the Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of their earlier commitment to restore statehood "at an appropriate time," stating that the current situation is indeed ideal for such a move. "The people of Jammu and Kashmir have shown resilience and patience. Normalcy is visible everywhere, and this is the perfect moment to honor the promise made to them," he said.
