Srinagar, Sept. 29 -- J&K Peoples Conference President and MLA Handwara Sajad Gani Lone on Monday remembered the revered Islamic scholar and community leader, Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari (RA), on his death anniversary, describing him as "a great scholar, a great leader and a great human being."

In a deeply personal tribute, Lone recalled his long association with Molvi Ansari, which began during his childhood when the late cleric worked alongside his father, Abdul Gani Lone.
