JAMMU, Jan. 2 -- The Committee on government assurances of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly today convened a meeting at Assembly Complex, Jammu to review the assurances pertaining to the Power Development Department (PDD).

The meeting was chaired by Committee Chairman, MLA Sajad Gani Lone and attended by members including Choudhary Mohammad Akram, Iftikar Ahmad, Hilal Akber Lone, Mian Mehar Ali, Mohan Lal, Dr. Sunil Bhardwaj and Shagun Parihar.

The Committee reviewed the status of assurances given by the government on the Floor of the House pertaining to Power Development Department and working of different projects.
