Srinagar, Dec. 5 -- J&K Peoples Conference President and MLA Handwara Sajad Lone on Friday raised alarm over the ongoing JKAS age-relaxation matter has plunged aspirants into a "confusing and exhausting maze of official claims," unfolding in a "typical Quixotic style" that has subjected candidates to "unprecedented miseries mired in ambiguities."

Lone said the saga has again been reduced to the movement of "the file." The CM Office says it has sent the file to the LG Office, and the LG Office has apparently sent it back to approve the logistical costs, creating a circular bureaucratic impasse that offers no certainty to those preparing for a career-defining examination.
