Srinagar, Oct. 29 -- Handwara MLA Sajad Lone and CPI(M) leader, Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami on Wednesday raised concern in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly over the health condition of jailed separatist leader Shabir Shah, urging the government to convey the matter to the Union Home Ministry.
Speaking in the House, Lone said Shabir Shah is not a militant but a political leader with a different ideology who has spent most of his life in jail. "He can't even get up or take care of himself," Lone said as Per KNS.
He questioned the silence of the Assembly on the matter, asking, "Then what about this Assembly? We talk about Kashmiri nationalism and Jammu nationalism, but when one of our own people is suffering, we remain quiet.Click Here To Follo...
