Srinagar, Jan. 8 -- The main Republic Day 2026 celebration in Jammu and Kashmir will be held at Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu, where Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will preside over the function. He will inspect the parade, take the salute and address the people.

According to news agency KNS, all officers and officials of government departments and public sector undertakings posted in Jammu have been directed to attend the function as part of their official duty. Heads of Departments and Chief Executives of public sector undertakings have also been asked to ensure their presence along with their subordinate staff to mark the occasion.
