Handwara, Oct. 31 -- Police District Handwara observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, also known as National Unity Day, with enthusiasm and public participation across the district. The day marks the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, who played a vital role in uniting the nation.

The main event was held at District Police Lines (DPL) Handwara, where police personnel took the Ekta Pledge to uphold the unity, integrity, and security of the country. The event also included a ceremonial march past showcasing the spirit of discipline and national unity.
