Srinagar, Oct. 9 -- The Committee on Petitions of the Rajya Sabha, during its study visit to Srinagar aimed at exploring measures to conserve and revitalise the dying rivers across the country, today held detailed discussions with representatives from NLCO, Canara Bank, J&K Bank, Chenab Valley Power Project Ltd., Power Trading Corporation, National Seeds Corporation, and various government departments including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Power, and Ministry of Jal Shakti, along with JKPCB, JKPDC, JK SFC, JK R&B, Water Resources Regulatory Authority, LCMA, NDF, and other NGOs.
